Job description:

Union Basketball is on a mission to build an accessible community for players to play and train.  From open gym and organized drop in sessions to private rentals and our in-house league, Union is a place for players of all skill levels to develop and connect.  

Our staff team is passionate about basketball and creating a welcoming environment.  With unique giftings and personalities, each team member contributes in their own way to our positive work culture founded on open communication and trust.  Team members understand their work ethic and attitudes make a lasting impact on our client base and maintain friendly and professional relationships with all staff and guests.

Shifts will include both front desk responsibilities as well as Union League stats and scorekeeping duties.  Front desk responsibilities include checking players in for sessions when they arrive, answering any questions over the phone or in person and maintaining a neat and clean facility.

Our front desk team members have the opportunity to make a real impact on players' experience at Union.  The way they welcome guests, answer questions and build connections sets Union apart from other organizations.

Qualifications and skills

  • Positive attitude
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Passionate about basketball and community
  • First aid certification would be an asset but not required

15-25 hours per week (weeknights and weekends)
Pay: $18 per hour
