Why do you love the game of basketball? 

I love the game of basketball because it gave a common hobby for my dad and I to spend our time together and deepen our bond. In the process of becoming closer to my dad, I fell in love with the grind and loved everything about the sport. Another facet of basketball that I love is that it is a sport where you could gather a lot of your friends to play together and hang out together afterwards.

What has the best part about working at Union been? 

Meeting new people and getting to know everyone who come regularly to Union. It’s fascinating how one sport can bring people from all walks of life together and join to play at a location that’s now readily available at our doorstep. Another benefit from working at union is getting to know the co workers as well and becoming a community together.

What do you hope people get out of their visit to Union? 

I hope people get the sense of the community we're striving towards and feel welcomed to come back, and possibly bring more people from their groups to experience the community and contribute to it as well. Basketball is such a unique sport in which it doesn’t require much to play, and now Union provides a platform for people to come together and play regularly and develop connections and bonds that will last a lifetime
